The Director of the Agency for Education and Professional Training, Marko Vujević, today welcomed Aaron Rupert, Director of the INL (Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs of the U.S. Department of State at the U.S. Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina), to the Agency's headquarters.

The meeting served as an opportunity to review the highly successful cooperation and projects that the Agency has implemented in partnership with U.S. institutions, followed by discussions on future modalities of cooperation that would further support and enhance the implementation of AEPTM's statutory responsibilities, particularly in the training of police cadets and the professional development of serving police officers from law enforcement agencies across Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Director Vujević expressed his satisfaction with the prospects for future cooperation, emphasizing that international cooperation is essential for strengthening the security system of Bosnia and Herzegovina. He noted that the Agency contributes to this objective by organising educational and training programmes aimed at enhancing the professional competencies of police officers, facilitating the exchange of information, and promoting coordinated action in addressing security challenges that require an integrated approach by both national and international security systems.
