This week, the Agency for Education and Professional Training successfully organised the Multiplier Training on the Use of Force and Fundamentals of Tactical Medicine for First Responding Police Officers, a programme developed as part of the Erasmus+ Joined Curriculum Development Project FIRST-TAC.

The training was delivered in accordance with the project curriculum by instructors from the Agency, the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA), the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of Bosnia and Herzegovina (DKPT BiH), and the Border Police of Bosnia and Herzegovina (GP BiH). Participants included police officers and civil servants from security institutions at all levels of government in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Before presenting the certificates, the Director of the Agency for Education and Professional Training, Marko Vujević, addressed the participants, emphasising that this educational programme had been implemented within the framework of the international ERASMUS+ project. He noted that the project encompasses not only the development of a joint curriculum but also staff exchanges and the joint organisation of training programmes in cooperation with police academies from Lithuania, Poland, and the Republic of Croatia.

In his address, Director Vujević stressed that the certificates awarded represent far more than a formality - they are confirmation of the participants' ability to respond effectively in the field. "Every citizen looks to a police officer for safety and expects prompt, honourable and responsible action, regardless of whether you are in uniform or off duty. This training provides precisely the additional knowledge that makes a real difference in the field," said Vujević.

Congratulating the participants on successfully completing the programme, he also expressed his gratitude to the instructors whose expertise and commitment contributed to the high quality of the training and the successful implementation of the project. Certificates of appreciation were presented to the trainers: Marija Vokić of the Border Police of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dejan Jakopec of SIPA, and Nihad Džanko of the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
