27/03/2025

Over the past three days, the leading representatives of the Agency for Education and Professional Training, headed by Director Marko Vujević, have been on a study visit to the Police Academy in Słupsk, Poland.

The visit was organized with the aim of presenting the Polish police education system and familiarizing with the functioning of the entire Polish police force. During their stay in Słupsk, the AEPTM delegation visited the District Police Headquarters in Sławno and the Prevention Unit in Gdańsk. In a working meeting with the Polish counterparts, they exchanged information regarding the organization and implementation of police officer training programs at the Police Academy in Słupsk and the Agency for Education and Professional Training, and discussed the possibilities for future cooperation.

These two police education institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Poland have cooperated so far within the framework of the Erasmus+ program, which was funded by the European Union. This program focused on developing a joint curriculum for first responders on tactical procedures for the use of force and first aid (FIRST-TAC). This international project also included police academies from Lithuania and Croatia, the latter being the project leader.

Director Marko Vujević was accompanied by Dunja Galić, Head of the Support Department, and expert advisor Helena Kolobarić.
