16/05/2024

Enes Karić, director of the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies, accompanied by his deputy Goran Amidžić, visited the Agency for Education and Professional Training yesterday.

At the first working meeting with Marko Vujević, AEPTM director, Predrag Šupljeglav, deputy director, and Dunja Galić, head of the Support Service Office, they discussed the increasingly difficult ways to address staffing issues, which make it difficult for both institutions to fulfill their basic legal duties. The long-time cooperation between the Agency for Education and Professional Training and the Directorate for the Coordination of Police Bodies has resulted in training courses for more than two hundred cadets of the Directorate so far, as well as numerous professional and specialist training programs at AEPTM based on the needs expressed by the Directorate.

To strengthen the security system of our country, the close cooperation between the two agencies will continue in the future, Vujević and Karić stated. The leaders of the Directorate made an update on the progress of the job vacancy procedure for the admission of new cadets, which is in the final phase so that AEPTM might admit 50 cadets and start the training course in September of this year.

The guests from the Directorate visited the entire complex of the Agency for Education and Professional Training with its facilities, classrooms, equipment, training grounds, sports grounds, and shooting range that are made available for police officers of our country during basic and other training programs in the Agency for Education and Professional Training.
