The Agency for Education and Professional Training (AEPTM) organized a training course "Security measures to mitigate risks when escorting VIPs" on March 25-29, 2024. The examination of persons, things and vehicles, and the routes of movement were in the focus of this training which was successfully completed by 19 police officers of the Directorate for the Coordination of Police Bodies.
The goal of the training was to improve and acquire training skills related to mitigating risks when providing security for VIPs. The training was led in five teaching phases by certified instructors and other experts.
At the certificate-award ceremony, the participants of the training were greeted by the AEPTM Deputy Director Predrag Šupljeglav who said that it was designed for police officers to develop their skills and abilities and thus improve the efficiency of police institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Šupljeglav thanked everyone who contributed to the implementation of the training, particularly to the instructors Edin Kosovac and Vedran Budimir for their long-time cooperation with AEPTM, wishing them the best for their well-deserved retirement in the first days of April.
Kosovac and Budimir stated they were happy to be able to pass on at least part of their knowledge to the young police officers. They thanked their colleagues from the Agency for Education and Professional Training for their professional and friendly relationship.
