Marko Vujević, Director of the Agency for Education and Professional Training, received a delegation from the NATO Headquarters in Bosnia and Herzegovina, led by the Deputy Commander, Brigadier Bahrija Yildiz.

At the working meeting with NATO HQ representatives, Director Vujević highlighted the fruitful cooperation between the Agency and NATO Headquarters in BiH and thanked for the recognition "NATO Star Awards" presented to him by the NATO commander, Brigadier General Pamela McGaha in January this year.

Brigadier Yildiz expressed pleasure of visiting the only state-level institution in charge of police education, saying that NATO can greatly contribute to raising the security situation in BiH to a higher level, and thus to a better future for the country. On his first visit to the Agency, the brigadier showed appreciation for its resources and facilities and praised its excellent management for recognizing the possibilities of good cooperation between NATO and AEPTM.

The meeting was attended by Lidra Zegali, a security institution building advisor, and Anadin Hebib, a politico-military researcher from the NATO HQ in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Speaking about the plans to hold the NATO DEEP overview conference in Brussels, Zegali said that the AEPTM representatives will be invited to participate in its work. Furthermore, ADL NATO experts are expected to visit the Agency to evaluate the current state of its equipment, and give an account of its needs, with an assessment of what should be done to activate the distance learning system.
