At the annual review conference that was held at the NATO headquarters in Brussels on April 16-17, 2024, the Agency for Education and Professional Training was represented by director Marko Vujević, assistant director Elvir Velić, head of support services Dunja Galić and expert advisor Neven Kajić.

The review conference was organized by NATO DEEP (Defence Education Enhancement Programme) – Programme for the improvement of education in the field of defense, which was extended to the Agency for Education and Professional Training (AEPTM) last year with the aim of implementing and maintaining an effective and efficient strategic level of education and training programmes based on NATO's Counter Terrorism Reference Curriculum (CTRC).

On the second day of the conference,  Elvir Velić and Neven Kajić held presentations on the status of the programme, the implementation of which was encouraged by the NATO headquarters in Bosnia and Herzegovina. They elaborated on the creation of a curriculum according to CTRC in response to the needs of law enforcement agencies in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the introduction of modern technological standards into the teaching process of AEPTM, such as digitized lectures, transitioning to 3D virtual reality trainings and introducing similar technologies as part of ADL.

Director Vujević thanked the NATO HQ representatives in Bosnia and Herzegovina for their cooperation and the development of partnership relations with the NATO alliance in general. The joint projects so far have contributed to the development of the Agency for Education and Professional Training, which, through training and professional development programmes, strives to offer modern educational courses to police officers in BiH, thereby strengthening the complete security system in BiH.
