Cooperation between UNODC and AEPTM continues
A delegation of UNODC, led by Oleksiy Feschchenko, Head of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime in Vienna, visited the Agency for Education and Professional Training. They talked with their hosts, Saša Govedarica, Deputy Director of the Agency and Dunja Galić, Head of Training Support Department, about possibilities to continue the cooperation that started with the training course 'Building regional capacities in combatting money laundering and the financing of terrorism in Southeast Europe'. This training course held in June was a training opportunity in financial investigations for 10 new trainers.
The representatives of UNODC offered to install for the Agency the LMS platform ( Learning Manegement System), a training management system designed to improve and streamline the organization of specialized trainings in different areas. The platform is compatible with the e-learning system that the Agency is already in possession of.
They agreed for the Agency for Eduction and Professional Training to continue organizing specialized programmes on financial investigations in which BiH law enforcement agencies might have an interest. UNODC will hand over to the Agency the available curricula that were developed as a result of the Programme 'Building regional capacities in combatting money laundering and the financing of terrorism in Southeast Europe“.
