Certificate-award ceremony for 18th class of police officers

A certificate-award ceremony was held in the Agency for Education and Professional Training to mark the completion of basic police training for 10 cadets of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA), who were promoted to the rank of police officer.

In the presence of numerous guests from the security sector of our country, relatives and friends of the cadets, the director of the Agency for Education and Professional Training, Marko Vujević congratulated the cadets on the successful completion of basic police training and their new rank of police officer. He thanked everyone who contributed to the efficient implementation of the teaching process. "You have put a lot of effort into the training course and made good results. You have chosen the honorable and demanding job that requires you to always be on the side of justice and the law, upholding the security of Bosnia and Herzegovina," stated Vujević and underlined the need for lifelong learning and professional development through various specialist training programmes conducted by AEPTM.

According to the Curriculum, the training lasted eight months (1025 teaching/working hours), and was divided into three phases: theory classes with practice sessions, professional-operational training and situation-based classes with the final exam. The curriculum was implemented through 16 subjects: Police powers and ethics, Handling weapons and shooting skills, Criminal tactics, techniques and methods, Traffic safety, Special physical education, Physical culture and first aid, Criminal psychology, the Constitution, Criminal, Misdemeanor and Criminal procedure law, Human rights, Informatics and communication and the English language.

The Agency's Teaching Council proclaimed Nemanja Bijeljanin the best cadet of the class who stood out for his performance and commitment. Bijeljanin thanked the instructors, mentors and lecturers from the Agency for Education and Professional Training and SIPA who invested a lot of effort in the teaching process. He thanked his parents for their support, as well as his colleagues, saying that in the Agency for Education and Professional Training they turned to each other and that, even though they came from different backgrounds and with different habits, they influenced and supported each other with the goal of successfully completing the police training.
