A three-day specialized training 'Firearm handling and shooting skills' for 11 police officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton has finished today.

The second-round of the training, organized by the Department for specialized training of the Agency, was designed to improve knowledge, skills and competencies in planning, implementation, recording and assessing the live ammunition shooting performance.

Marko Vujević, Director of the Agency for Education and Professional Training, presented the certificates to the MoI HNC police officers and congratulated the instructors on this extraordinary training course. The positive assessment forms, Vujević said, are just the confirmation of the quality of curricula and expertise of the Agency's team of lecturers/instructors for firearm handling who keep following the international standards to improve the curricula.

Željko Jurić, a police officer of the MoI HNC, thanked on behalf of all the students for the well-designed training and conveyed the greetings of Robert Perić, the HNC Police Commissioner. He said it would be good to continue the cooperation of the Agency and MoI HNC through various forms of professional and specialized programmes according to the expressed needs of police officers and security challenges they encounter.
