The cooperation between NATO and AEPTM continues

The representatives of Political-Military Advisory section of NATO Headquarters in BiH visited the Agency for Education and Professional Training, where they held talks with the leading representatives of our Academy and started preparations for this year's cooperation.

The NATO representatives Lidra Zegali, Security Institution Building Advisor and Anadin Hebib, Politico-Military Researcher at the meeting with Director Marko Vujević and Head of Support Services Office, Dunja Galić said to be grateful for the Agency's cooperation with NATO in the last year, which was evaluated to be excellent by the NATO HQ in Brussels. Zegali said that the NATO member countries had approved the Assistance Package to the Defence and Security of BiH at the last meeting, which includes nine aid projects for the defense system  and three projects for the security system of our country. She said it was the first time for NATO to come forward from the defense to the security in three fields: cyber security, fight against terrorism and protection of critical infrastructure.

The Agency for Education and Professional Training  is said to have been recognized by NATO as the leading institution for education in these three fields. It is therefore planned for the experts from Brussels, the heads of NATO's counter-terrorism and training departments to visit the Agency and work out the plans for this year's cooperation with the Agency's management and heads of training department.

Director Vujević thanked the NATO representatives for the successful cooperation so far and expressed his pleasure with the plans for future cooperation in the field of fight against terrorism. He welcomed the assistance of NATO experts in providing training for our lecturers, drafting curricula and implementing them through future training programmes.
