Grubeša and Perković paid a visit to Agency for Education and Professional Training


Director of the Agency for Education and Professional Training Marko Vujević received Josip Grubeša, Minister of Justice of BiH and Siniša Perković, Head of the Instiitute for the execution of criminal samctions, detention and other measures of BiH.

Vujević informed the guests about current affairs from the scope of work of the Agency for Education and Professional Training. They opened up topics to deepen cooperation between these two institutions such as organizing professional and specialized trainings for the judicial police staff.

Speaking about human and material resources and technical equipment of the new building complex of the Agency, Vujević said 'there are innumerable opportunities for the training and professional development of judicial police officers according to specifically designed training programmes that are tailored according to the development needs of trainees'. Vujević said the challenges encountered by civil servants/police officers were taken into account when drafting the curricula, adding that training courses, particularly their practical segments are adjusted to the demands of trainees.

Grubeša and Perković expressed the current needs for trainings of judicial police officers, which require an analyses of the Department for specialized trainings, operational procedures and curricula drafting

A procedure for signing an Agreement of Cooperation between the Ministry of Justice of BiH and Agency for Education and Professional Training has been initiated at today's meeting, which will be a solid base to improve the cooperation so far and launch the projects that will be included.

The guests were taken on a tour of the building complex of the Agency where its main tasks and duties, be it theory, practice or situational classes, have been carried out in the last two years. The complex consists of many other facilities available to the students such as the shooting range, sports hall, outside courts and polygons.
