Graduation of 14th classs of police cadets

A graduation ceremony for 8 police cadets of the State Investigation and Protection
Agency, in the presence of leading representatives of BiH security institutions, took place in
the Agency for Education and Professional Training. It is the 14th class of police cadets who
have taken part in the basic police training course – level 1 in the Agency and gained the rank
of policeman.
Director of the Agency for Education and Professional Training, Marko Vujević gave
his address on this occassion saying "he hopes that the future police officers will apply the
knowledge and skills gained in the Agency while working in SIPA's best investigation teams
of our countrty". He added: "We have to support in every possible way young people who
have chosen this challengeng and honest job. In such a challenging situation, when our
country confronts the migratioin crisis and other security threats, such as terrorism or
organized crime, our response has to be based on science and profession, and that is why we
have to have well trained police officers.“
He congratulated the cadets on the successfully completed basic training and
underlined the important role of their lecturers and mentors who have led the cadets in the last
six months. How high this 14th class have scored in their courses on average shows their
excellent GPA. Kerim Hamzić has been proclaimed the best cadet of the class.
The 6-month basic police training programme for police cadets of SIPA (rank of
policeman) is divided into two phases: theory classes with practical exrciseses and situational
classes (1180 classes in total conducted).
