Symposium 'Evaluation as the main component of police education system'

A delegation of the Agency for Education and Professional Training, headed by Deputy Director Saša Govedarica, visited Oradea, Romania on 25-28 June.2018 to take part in the 11th International Symposium 'Evaluation as the main component of police eduaction system', organized by the Avam Iancu Border Police Training School. The BiH delegations of the Agency for Education and Professional Training and Police Training Directorate of the Republika Srpska MoI delivered speeches at the symposium along with the representatives of police education institutions from Ukraine, Moldova, Hungary, Slovakia, and Romania.

The Symposium covered the following topics: 'Creating the evaluation types and methods that are used in the education system', 'The use of modern evaluation tools (platforms, e-learning, special programmes, etc.)', 'The methods of conveying the evaluation system results' and 'Motivation problems connected with the development of grading systems'.

Deputy Director Saša Govedarica informed the participants of the symposium about the work methodology of the Agency for Education and Professional Training, and basic police training and various specialized training curricula. Speaking about the main topic of the Symposium, Govedarica said that basic police training in BiH police education institutions is not subject to the evaluation method that is applied in the neighbourhood. The evaluation in the Agency for Education and Professional Training is done through the final grade of police cadets.
